Seller Agreement

Last updated 22 August 2026

This agreement applies to everyone who opens a shop on Airehaus. By creating a shop, starting a membership, or listing an item, you agree to it. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

1.Handmade authenticity — the core rule

Airehaus is only for genuinely handmade goods. This is the single most important term of this agreement, and the one we enforce most strictly. Read it carefully before you list.

Non-negotiable

Airehaus Authenticity Policy

  1. 01
    Everything must be genuinely handmade

Every item you list must be made, hand-altered, or hand-assembled by you or your shop. Mass-produced goods, resold stock, wholesale items, and “designed by me, manufactured by a factory” products are not permitted.

  2. 02
Not handmade means your business is removed

If we determine an item is not genuinely handmade, your shop is removed from the marketplace. Membership fees already paid are not refunded.

  3. 03
Drop-shipping is an instant, permanent ban

If any item you list is found for sale on a drop-shipping or wholesale buyer platform (for example AliExpress, Alibaba, Temu, DHgate, or any print-on-demand or reseller catalogue), your shop is removed immediately and permanently on the first instance. No warning is given.

  4. 04
Faking handmade will not be tolerated

Passing off manufactured or resold goods as handmade is fraud against buyers and against the makers who build this community honestly. We remove these shops without hesitation. There are many other platforms for reselling and drop-shipping — this is not one of them.

  5. 05
    We verify

We may ask for progress photos, process videos, material receipts, or a short explanation of how a piece is made. We may run reverse-image and catalogue checks at any time. Refusing a reasonable verification request is grounds for removal.

By listing any item you represent and warrant, for that item, that it is genuinely handmade by you or your shop, that it is not resold, wholesale, mass-produced, or drop-shipped, and that it is not listed for sale by you or anyone else on a drop-shipping or wholesale buyer platform. These representations are ongoing and apply every day the item remains listed.

2.Enforcement and consequences

Where we determine an item is not genuinely handmade, we remove your shop from the marketplace. Where any item is found for sale on a drop-shipping or wholesale platform, or where you attempt to pass off manufactured or resold goods as handmade, removal is immediate and permanent on the first instance, without warning.

Membership fees already paid are not refunded on removal for an authenticity breach, and we may withhold, cancel, or report activity where we reasonably suspect fraud. This is not a punishment for makers — it is protection for the honest ones, and for the buyers who trust that “handmade” means what it says. There are many other platforms for reselling and drop-shipping; this is not one of them.

3.You run an independent business

You are an independent business and the merchant of record for every sale in your shop. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship with the platform. You are responsible for your own tax, insurance, licences, and legal compliance.

4.Eligibility to sell

You may list and sell only while both your flat membership is active and your own Stripe account is connected and able to accept charges. If either lapses, your listings are hidden until it is restored.

5.Payments — you keep 100%

Checkout is a direct charge on your own Stripe account. You receive the full item price and the full shipping the buyer pays; the platform takes zero commission and adds no transaction fee. Stripe’s own processing fees and terms apply between you and Stripe. You are responsible for issuing refunds to your buyers from your Stripe account.

6.Listings must be accurate

Your photos must be of your own actual work, and your descriptions, materials, dimensions, pricing, stock, and variants must be accurate and kept up to date. Misleading listings — including stock photos of goods you did not make — are a breach of this agreement and of the authenticity policy.

7.Shipping and fulfilment

You control shipping entirely and choose your own mode (flat rate by zone, free, or your own carrier account). You are solely responsible for dispatching orders promptly, packing them safely, providing accurate tracking where offered, and for any carrier arrangements. The platform holds no carrier keys and organises no logistics.

8.Customer service, returns and consumer law

You handle your own customer enquiries, returns, and refunds, and you must comply with the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees (acceptable quality, matching description, fitness for purpose). Publish a clear shipping and returns policy on your shop.

9.Content licence

You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload. You grant the platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and marketing the marketplace and your shop within it. You warrant you have the rights to everything you upload.

10.Membership fee

The flat $29/month membership is billed by Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel. It is the platform’s only charge to you. Cancelling stops future billing and hides your listings; it does not entitle you to a refund of the current period, and removal for an authenticity breach is never refunded.

11.Suspension, removal and termination

We may suspend or permanently remove your shop for breaching this agreement or our policies. Serious breaches — drop-shipping, faking handmade, counterfeits, or fraud — lead to immediate, permanent removal. You may close your shop at any time from your dashboard.

12.Taxes

You are responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any taxes (including GST where applicable) on your sales, and for any tax reporting obligations arising from your business.

13.Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
