Terms of Service
Last updated 22 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Airehaus as a buyer or visitor. Sellers are also bound by the Seller Agreement.

1.Who we are
Airehaus (“the platform”, “we”, “us”) operates an online marketplace where independent makers each run their own shop. We provide the storefront and tools; we do not manufacture, own, sell, or ship the goods listed, and we take no commission on any sale.
2.Marketplace operator, not the seller
Every purchase is a contract directly between you and the independent seller. The seller is the merchant of record. Payment is processed as a direct charge on the seller’s own Stripe account — we do not hold, route, or take a cut of any order, payout, or parcel.
Because we are not a party to your purchase, the seller — not the platform — is responsible for the item, its description, dispatch, delivery, and any warranty, return, or refund.
3.Handmade authenticity
Airehaus exists for genuinely handmade goods. We hold every seller to a strict authenticity standard and remove shops that break it. As a buyer, this is our promise about what you’re buying — and our commitment to the honest makers here.
Airehaus Authenticity Policy
- 01Everything must be genuinely handmade
Every item you list must be made, hand-altered, or hand-assembled by you or your shop. Mass-produced goods, resold stock, wholesale items, and “designed by me, manufactured by a factory” products are not permitted.
- 02Not handmade means your business is removed
If we determine an item is not genuinely handmade, your shop is removed from the marketplace. Membership fees already paid are not refunded.
- 03Drop-shipping is an instant, permanent ban
If any item you list is found for sale on a drop-shipping or wholesale buyer platform (for example AliExpress, Alibaba, Temu, DHgate, or any print-on-demand or reseller catalogue), your shop is removed immediately and permanently on the first instance. No warning is given.
- 04Faking handmade will not be tolerated
Passing off manufactured or resold goods as handmade is fraud against buyers and against the makers who build this community honestly. We remove these shops without hesitation. There are many other platforms for reselling and drop-shipping — this is not one of them.
- 05We verify
We may ask for progress photos, process videos, material receipts, or a short explanation of how a piece is made. We may run reverse-image and catalogue checks at any time. Refusing a reasonable verification request is grounds for removal.
If you believe an item is not genuinely handmade, or you’ve seen it for sale on a drop-shipping or wholesale platform, please report it — reports are taken seriously and actioned quickly.
4.Membership and fees
Buying is free. Sellers pay a flat $29/month membership, which is the platform’s only source of revenue. We charge no commission and add no fees to your order — the price and shipping you see are set by the seller and paid to the seller.
5.Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise and are set by each seller. Shipping is added at checkout based on the destination region and the seller’s own shipping settings. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Placing an order is an offer to buy from the seller. A seller may decline or refund an order (for example, if an item is no longer available).
6.Shipping and fulfilment
Sellers control shipping entirely and are responsible for dispatching your order and for the accuracy of any tracking they provide. Delivery timeframes are set by the seller. The platform organises no logistics and holds no carrier accounts.
7.Returns, refunds and your consumer rights
Each seller sets a returns policy, shown on their shop. Returns and refunds are handled by the seller directly.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Goods must be of acceptable quality, match their description, and be fit for any purpose made known. Where a consumer guarantee applies, you have remedies against the seller as the supplier.
8.Disputes between buyers and sellers
Because your contract is with the seller, please raise any issue with the seller first — most matters are resolved quickly and directly.
If you cannot reach a resolution, contact us and we will act as an informal facilitator and, where a seller has breached these terms or our policies, take action against the seller (including suspension or removal). We are not, however, able to force a refund on the seller’s behalf, and card chargebacks are handled by Stripe and your bank.
9.Prohibited items and conduct
You must not use Airehaus to buy, sell, or promote:
- anything that is not genuinely handmade (see the Airehaus Authenticity Policy above);
- mass-produced, resold, wholesale, or drop-shipped goods;
- counterfeit goods or items that infringe another’s intellectual property;
- illegal, dangerous, recalled, or age-restricted items where prohibited;
- content that is fraudulent, harassing, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.
10.Intellectual property and content
Shop names, product photos, and descriptions belong to the sellers who upload them, or to the platform where we created them. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse listings, images, or other content without permission.
11.Accounts, suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove any account, shop, or listing that breaches these terms or our policies — in particular the Airehaus Authenticity Policy — with or without notice where the breach is serious (such as drop-shipping or faking handmade goods).
12.Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, the platform is not liable for the acts or omissions of sellers, for the goods sold, or for indirect or consequential loss. The marketplace is provided “as is”.
13.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
14.Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continuing to use the platform means you accept the current terms.
